Actuator sensor

Monitors an Actuator. When the Actuator being monitored starts, it sends one positive pulse to the connected controller(s). When the Actuator being monitored stops, it sends one negative pulse to the connected controller(s)

Option(s) of the Actuator sensor :

There's no particular options for the Always sensor, just the common options of all Sensors

Python :

import bge
# get the controller
cont = bge.logic.getCurrentController()
# get the sensor attached to the controller
# my sensor is named Trigger
sen = cont.sensors["Trigger"]
  • sen.actuator : gets/sets the name of Actuator Logic Brick the actuator sensor is set to monitor

Note :

  • The actuator sensor and the actuator logic brick being monitored must be on the same object.
